Our members are invited to join us for an Easter catch up at Brimbank Park Play Space. We will be providing hot cross buns for everyone and a free coffee for the parents.  For the kids we will be doing some Easter arts and crafts and each child will receive an Easter egg to take home - please book a free ticket for each child so we know how many Easter eggs to purchase. The details are as follows: Date - Sunday 20 March Time - 10am to 12 noon Place - Essendon Playgroup (Sturt St Essendon) For those of you who have not attended previously, this event is a relaxed drop in session, with no RSVP required, and is open for all members to attend. It is a great opportunity for our newer members (expectant parents too), to come along and chat to other parents of multiples. Parents of multiples are always most happy to share some hints, tips, and a funny story or two about raising multiples! We are always happy to assist anyone needing an extra hand to get from your car into the playgroup (it is only a very short walk from the car park to the playgroup centre). There are microwave facilities for warming bottles etc, and a baby change room. We would love to make you a hot cuppa, so you can take a break and meet some other parents of multiples, and make some wonderful connections while doing this. There is also a lovely outdoor play area for older children to keep busy in the fresh air! We look forward to seeing you there!

A $50 deposit is required to secure your 15 minute photography session, where they will take a variety of photographs of your family.  The $50 deposit is fully deductible from your order.  If no order is placed, the deposit is non-refundable. The NWMBC invite their members to a free Family Fun Day to be held at Allison Park Playground in Essendon. We will have an entertainer on site from 10.30am to entertain children of all ages, with music, dancing, a treasure hunt and a magic show.  If time permits there will be face painting and balloon twisting. This will be a fun day out for all members, no matter the age of your child, and a chance to catch up with other multiples parents. Some snacks will be provided on the day, however you may wish to bring your own snacks/lunch.

Come and join your fellow multiples families for a fun day out to celebrate Christmas at this free event. This event will be great for all families - whether your multiples are newborns or 8! We are planning lots of fun activities on the day.  It is sure to be a fabulous day out for the whole family. We will be collecting the name and age of your children so that Santa can provide an appropriate present (please ensure you enter the year of birth so we can calculate their age). To welcome back all of our members to face to face functions, we will be holding an event at the Brimbank Bicycle Education Centre. BYO bike, trike or scooter (along with helmet) for a fun morning of outdoor activity. We encourage all members to attend no matter the age of your multiples.  For new members, there will be committee members and other parents present that you will be able to speak to about your "twin problems". Please note that only children are able to ride their bikes/scooters and all riders must be wearing closed toe shoes. You must be a fully paid up member to attend this event - please email treasurer@nwmbc.org.au to find out if your membership is up to date.   Due to COVID requirements, this event will be capped at 100 attendees.  Please book a ticket for all attendees that are over 12 months old.

This year we will be having a virtual Christmas Party. Join other multiples families in celebrating the festive season with an online party hosted by Friend in Me.  There will be appearances by some special friends - possibilities include Elsa, Anna, Spiderman and Captain America. We will deliver some presents to your house prior to the event so that they can be opened on the day.  Please book a separate ticket for each child that is attending (include all children, even those under 1) and enter date of births so we can provide an appropriate present.  It is not necessary for adults to book tickets. This session will assist you as an accidental counsellor.  Accidental conselling refers to situations where emotional support is given by one person to another person and where the person giving support is not a trained counsellor. THe workshop will be practical, interactive and will benefit anyone required to provide regular or occassional informal support and counselling. Limited to 10 places, please book your spot.

Join your fellow multiple birth parents in this invaluable presentation from Love Me Love You. We will receive two presentations on the night.  The first is about utilising lived experience, participants build awareness of the challenges faced on a daily basis. This enables them to gain insight into mental health as a social and personal concept; helping to create a positive change. The second presentation is about empowering care givers.  Without early intervention, mental health difficulties can increase and become significant problems later in life. Care givers (Parents, Coaches, Teachers and the like) are gateway providers for children to access support services. Parents develop an understanding on childhood mental health to better equip themselves to handle potentially harmful issues.
